Ordering And Setting Up Your Emovis Télépéage Tag

So you are going on a driving trip to France and have decided that you want to go down the route of automated payment at the Autoroute tolls. You like the idea of being able to cruise through the Télépéage lane, whilst the other motorists queue in traffic. You are also happy that you won’t have to leave the comfort of your car, to brave the wind and rain as you make the toll payment. However, you aren’t sure exactly how to get your hands on one of these handy gadgets, or how to set it up when it arrives. Fear not! With Emovis Tag now providing Télépéage tags to British drivers travelling to France, nothing could be simpler.

Ordering your tag

In the past, the only way you could get hold of a Télépéage transponder was to have a French bank account – or know someone that did. This is now a thing of the past and Sanef have extended their service to make their Liber-t device available to all British residents. You can order your tag by completing our straightforward online subscription form.

Delivery options

Be aware that by subscribing to Liber-t you are automatically purchasing a tag. Your tag will be dispatched to you via Royal Mail 1st Class, or if you require it urgently you can request Special Delivery. The package is small enough to fir through a letterbox, meaning you won’t have to wait in if you request the 1st Class option.

Installing the device

Fastening the car to your windscreen is a simple process. All you have to do is remove the film from the tape from the tag’s holder and then press it to the windscreen for 10 seconds. The tag can then be clipped into, or removed from the holder as and when required. The device should be positioned in the mottled or shaded area right behind your rear view mirror. Visit our how does it work page for detailed information on the importance of tag positioning and a useful visual guide.
